Starting with my first camera as a teen-ager and continuing through several “generations” of cameras to my present one, the world in front of a camera’s eye has always fascinated me. Once behind the lens, I concentrate on interesting forms and placement of objects both animate and inanimate. In particular, I like the energy of primary colors in a simple setting which allows the viewer to put his or her own interpretation on what the picture “means”. When many different opinions about a particular photograph are expressed, I feel I have succeeded.
For the past few years, I have augmented my love of photography with the study of life drawings, watercolors and pastels. Recently I discovered that pencil crayons combined with pencil drawings are a perfect medium to capture a moment in the life of a child. I hope you enjoy looking at my Gallery as much as I enjoyed creating it.
